Fort Pain – 7.01.2020

Fort Pain gets a taste of Warpath

PAX: @Foosball @Joey Freshwater @Cosmo @Pancreas @Heidi, PeeWee (FNG), and YHC

Mosey around playground

Though it is different in each iteration, Warpath is always a lot of running, a lot of burpees, and a lot of pain. YHC tried his best to deliver all 3 in 45 min. The Sky Q was kind enough to hold off the rain

20 SSH’s
10 merkins
12 Squats
Phase 1 – 1776 (go ahead and try it)
17 burpees
76 SSH in cadence
17 burpees
76 flutter kicks in cadence
Rucks on for burpees for YHC and @Foosball

Buyout of phase 1: 17 pull-ups (no ruck)

Phase 2 – super 11’s
length between pain stations: .25 mile
Pain station 1 – at the crosswalk by the flag pole – atomic merkins
Pain station 2 – at the light pole at the top of the hill – reverse lunges to curled single-leg raises
PAX had time to make it at least 4 trips up the hill for a total of 2.25 miles. Rucks on for YHC and @Foosball, who gave @Pancreas a taste of ruck running on his final hill ascent.

Buyout of phase 2: 100 Merkins

COT – welcome Peewee! Great work!

Prayer Requests:

@Heidi and the father of his friend, Laura. Eternal rest grant unto him, oh Lord. Safe travels to and from his services.
Freddie’s recovery from Covid
Reopening of all of our churches
The USA – healing and unification

– Jesus said “Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me,
for I am meek and humble of heart;
and you will find rest for yourselves.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden light.” Matthew 11:25-30
Always remember we can do nothing without Christ. Allow Him to shoulder our burdens with us and trust in His providence and guidance.
