Fort Pain IronPAX Week 0 Workout- 8.24.2020

7 PAX got up and got after it this morning, even though most of us admitted that we didn't want to.

Quick Mosey around the Pain Ground

In honor of the IronPAX challenge kicking off next week, we did the Week 0 Workout, which consisted of:
4 Rounds of the following exercises:
– 50 Air Squats
– 40 Big Boy Situps
– 30 Merkins
– 20 Bonnie Blairs (Iron Mikes)
– 10 Burpees
– 400 Meter Run

During the first round we discovered how much @Three’s Company likes burpees, because he wanted to substitute those for the merkins.  I think @Hot N Ready claimed the best time by finishing the entire challenge in 2 minutes 47 seconds.

Early finishers got to treat themselves to a round of The Killer B's (Bear Crawl, Broad Jump, and Burpees), where PAX Bear crawl a distance specified by Q, then Broad jump back to start, every 5 broad jumps, PAX performs 3 Burpees.
That gave us just enough time for 1 minute of American Hammers to top it off.
