Convergence – 3.27.21

59 HIM from Spring Hill, Nolensville, and Franklin braved the weather and came together for our first Convergence of the year!

Dark clouds loomed with the threat of thunderstorms the entire time, but the rain held off until the end. Undeterred, we did what we do, hot or cold rain or shine. The Gloom was strong, be we prevailed! We initially circled up for the welcome and disclaimer by @Heidi, and learned of the passing of Little Miss Piggy’s M during the night. We dedicated this Convergence to LMP, and provided a Little Miss Piggy bank for any PAX that felt led to make donations for the family, because that’s what we do in F3. We help our hurting brothers however we can.

(see #moleskins and the message below) Time for 1 quick pic by the flags and then everyone moseyed back to the start to get to their cars before the storm startedCoffeeteria:
A few PAX hung around for some 2nd F, as we huddled with our coffee cups under a metal pavilion, under some trees, and watched the thunderstorm rage around us. As the quarter-sized hail bounced off of our vehicles, we were all just thankful we weren’t still in the creek!

Great job men!

Moleskin from Pancreas:A Moleskin for Tarah and Little Miss Piggy. A Moleskin for Jesus. It’s long. Read it anyway.
F3 brotherhood is an incredible thing. The bonds formed in the gloom with another HIM can be strong. I’m grateful to have had some time in the gloom with Little Miss Piggy to build relationship, albeit much smaller relationship than many of the Nolensville brothers. LMP and his M, Tarah, touched my life – although I never met Tarah. In observing their battle with cancer and their desire to trust the Lord and glorify Him through the process, my life has been impacted.
I read of Tarah sharing the Gospel with hospital staff during her last days on earth. Therefore, the most fitting subject I could think of for a Moleskin that would honor Tarah’s legacy and LMP, while giving glory to God, is to share the Gospel. I never want to assume that every F3 HIM knows Jesus as his Savior or has a heart that isn’t needing to hear the Gospel again.
Men, God created the world and he created you. He knit you together in your mother’s womb and He loves you with an everlasting love. Yet, He doesn’t force our love and from the very first humans, sin entered the world as a result of pride, rebellion and disobedience. God’s Word informs us that we have ALL sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Every one of us suffers from the condition of sin – and the penalty that is due for sin is death.
YET, the Good News is that God SO LOVED the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. THIS is the Gospel and it is the BEST. NEWS. EVER. However, it requires us to examine our hearts. Have you repented of your sins? Have you placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Savior from those sins and the penalty that is due as a result? If so, your sins are forgiven and you are under God’s immeasurable GRACE!Jesus Christ lived a perfect life, was crucified and put to death, was buried and rose again after three days, and ascended to Heaven where He sits at the right hand of the throne of Almighty God – our Heavenly Father. Jesus offers us abundant life on earth and eternal life with Him. We will all spend eternity somewhere – either separated from God or WITH God. None of us know when our last breath will occur and I encourage you to place your faith firmly in Jesus Christ for the sake of your remaining days on earth and for eternity!
For those who know Christ as their Savior already, I encourage you to examine your heart and be real about making adjustments if necessary. May our lives be offerings of gratitude, obedience, and worship back to God for all He has done for us through His Son.I encourage you all (and myself) to live with URGENCY and intentionality. LOVE and LEAD well in your homes with your wives and/or children, families, friends, and others in your sphere of influence. Make the most of your days to be a High Impact Man for the GLORY of God!The Q Source material teaches Movement to Advantage. Overnight, God moved Tarah to the place of ultimate Advantage. She is now with Jesus and she’s more alive than ever! Today, we cling to that truth and especially does LMP. Today our brother is hurting and we hurt along with him. Today we band together as brothers to pray for him and their family, encourage them, and support them going forward – for God’s glory.
We’re F3 and that’s what we do. No man left behind. Leave no man where you found him.
SYITG, Pancreas
