QiC encouraged the PAX that although we all have certain physical limitations, often when people say, “I can’t run that fast”, or “I can’t run that far”, it’s a mental perspective. QiC encouraged the PAX to push their pace beyond what they think they are capable of.
The Thang
  • Take some warm-up laps
  • At some point during the Thang, run a fast mile
  • Run the rest of the time with your bros and have fellowship
  • For goodness sake, listen to Coach Kwame and don’t hurt yourselves!
QiC didn’t take pictures, but he had written various motivational messages around the track in chalk:
  • Slow and weak, boys!
  • You shoulda gone to Tribute
  • Is this the Girl Scouts running club?
  • You prolly should go back to Planet Fitness
  • No judgement zone
  • All comfort zone
  • Don’t stop!
  • Ok maybe you should stop
  • You just came for the muffins
  • Didn’t you?
Back to parking lot for COT, where we met @Oscar Mayer videographer, who was doing some shots for a “Day in the Life Of” video he is making. So we did some running shots and he took some video of COT (no audio). We are honored that @Oscar Mayer loves F3SH and the PAX enough to include in his video!

Moleskin
In the movie The Passion of the Christ (if you haven’t seen it – you should), at the beginning, Jesus is praying in the Garden of Gethsemane. Satan comes to him and very slyly asks two questions: “Who is your father?” and “Who are you?”
While those words are not in Scripture, I think that is a pretty accurate depiction of two key questions that are behind any doubt, fear, temptation, and/or sin. We lose sight of the identity of our Heavenly Father and our own identity in Christ, and we fail to accurately remember the answers to those questions.
cripture is full of descriptions of God’s character and nature. Just a few: sovereign, just, righteous, loving, faithful, holy, wrath, provider, truthful, gracious, merciful, forgiving, and MANY more.
As Christ-followers, our identity in Christ is: loved, redeemed, saved, delivered, rescued, cared for, forgiven, purified, set apart, and MANY more.
I encourage the PAX not to lose sight of the Father’s identity and your identity in Christ. When we keep the truth of the Father’s character and nature in full view, it casts light and truth on our own identity in Christ.
It was an honor to lead you brothers this morning! Looking forward to October 26th, when we break all sorts of PR’s! #M2APancreacise out!
