Decided to do something crazy today at a running AO. Just run. We did a timed run – 20 minutes out at your own pace (until 5:55am) via sunrise hill/trail, then turn around and run 20 minutes back to the parking lot.
Beautiful sunrise this morning and it’s starting to get lighter about halfway through the run.

We learned about advancing the King and Queen earlier in the week. Today’s topic was about the Jester, a.k.a. THE MASTER LIAR
Everyone has one. Yours may be pride, gambling, alcohol abuse, pornography, laziness, anxiety, schadenfreude (which is taking pleasure in the troubles of others) or (fill in your Jester here). Lacking Preparedness, a HIM is kept out of proper personal alignment by his own personal Jester. You can accelerate your ability to fight it, just like you accelerate your king and queen, and by being ready for both the expected and unexpected.
Personally I’ve had success when I discuss it with someone I trust. Our group is full of people that would love to encourage you if you are struggling in the fight against your Jester. Reach out, and don’t try to fight it alone like a sad clown.
