What are you telling yourself? What does your mind dwell on? Is the message you preach to your heart reminding you of the goodness of God, or is the message you’re pounding into your heart fostering a sense of discouragement?
Focus on God’s Word and truths. Because if you’re thinking about God’s truth, you’re not thinking about less important things.
2 Corinthians 10:5 “We capture every thought and make it give up and obey Christ.” If you focus on godly things, they’ll pull you in a godly direction.
Philippians 4:8 CSB Finally brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable—if there is any moral excellence and if there is anything praiseworthy—dwell on these things.
