We don’t go into a dark room and wonder why it’s so dark and hem and haw about what we should do about the darkness. We walk into the dark room and immediately flip the switch to turn on light and chase the darkness out.
We are the lights of this world. God shines through us to light the darkness. We should recognize, accept, embrace this and shine our lights for the world to see.

Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
