The Thang
Depart the parking lot, Mosey to track. Creek was really moving and PAX speculated on Creek Burpees, but that was not on today's agenda.
QiC wasn't pleased with my initial Q at Proving Grounds a few months ago, so I made some adjustments to refine it.
PAX partnered up and made rounds on the track between 4 stations:
Nuclear Reactor Zone: thrusters with wood rounds – 10 reps + optional extra credit reps
Pull-up bars: 10 pull-ups, 10 hanging knee-ups + optional extra credit reps
Low bars: Tricep dips or Flutter Kicks, 20-30 two-count
Parallel Bars: 1st round, Dips. 2nd round, Bar Merkins. 3rd Round, Inverted Rows. 10 reps + optional extra credit reps

After PAX completed 3 rounds of the stations, we moseyed back to the creek. QiC asked everyone to get in the creek, with mixed reactions. Some were excited for potential of Creek Burpees, while others were less excited. Once everyone was all-in at the creek, QiC called his own bluff and guided everyone out of the creek with only soaked shoes.
Sprint back to the parking lot!
Just enough time for a few more rounds of the :skull_and_crossbones::skull_and_crossbones:BOX OF PAIN:skull_and_crossbones::skull_and_crossbones:

We finished with a spontaneous request from QiC to @Night Light for 1 minute of Supermans. What a great way to finish! Always love how The Hammer leads those!

Moleskin
In light of what @Cosmo mentioned above, there are many of us who are going through challenging and difficult life circumstances of various kinds. As such, I want to read one of my favorite Bible passages to remind us all of the mighty and powerful God whom we serve. (Side note: all of these Scriptures are from the Old Testament. If you have never ready the OT – or haven't in a while – I encourage you to do so.)
Joshua 10:7-14
“So Joshua marched up from Gilgal with his entire army, including all the best fighting men. The Lord said to Joshua, “Do not be afraid of them; I have given them into your hand. Not one of them will be able to withstand you.” After an all-night march from Gilgal, Joshua took them by surprise. The Lord threw them into confusion before Israel, so Joshua and the Israelites defeated them completely at Gibeon. Israel pursued them along the road going up to Beth Horon and cut them down all the way to Azekah and Makkedah. As they fled before Israel on the road down from Beth Horon to Azekah, the Lord hurled large hailstones down on them, and more of them died from the hail than were killed by the swords of the Israelites. On the day the Lord gave the Amorites over to Israel, Joshua said to the Lord in the presence of Israel: “Sun, stand still over Gibeon, and you, moon, over the Valley of Aijalon. ” So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, till the nation avenged itself on its enemies, as it is written in the Book of Jashar. The sun stopped in the middle of the sky and delayed going down about a full day. There has never been a day like it before or since, a day when the Lord listened to a human being. Surely the Lord was fighting for Israel!”
This powerful passage illustrates God's might and his ability to provide for us. While I make no promises of miracles or prosperity in a modern-day, first-world type of interpretation, God's Word does show that He works miracles. His word proves His faithfulness and that He fights for us! PAX, this is the same God whom we serve – and He fights for YOU also.
The Psalms tell us that God is our Refuge and Strength, our Rock and Redeemer.
Additionally, Deuteronomy promises that God goes with us and he will never leave or forsake us. Therefore, we can be strong and courageous, and not afraid or terrified. (Deuteronomy 31:6)
This is the character and nature of our God, and therefore, who we are in light of God.
It was an honor to lead and serve you men this morning. You all worked hard and we got stronger together.
SYITG, Pancreas
