Welcome to Murph Monday, is this anyone’s first time? I am Night Light and I am not a professional trainer, you can modify as needed but do not stop. Today’s workout in honor of Lieutenant Murphy who made the ultimate sacrifice trying to save his men from enemy fire.

The Thang: warm ups in cadence = Side straddle hop, arm circles, good-mornings, Willie Mays Hays, high kicks.
“The Murph” is 1 mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 squats, 1 mile run. Modify to avoid injury, not to avoid work.

COT: Count-o-Roma, Name-o-Roma, Announcements: See Slack for events on 25 September and 06 November.

Prayer Requests: @MaryAnne Ann work, @Soul Glo family travels, @Hot Mic family

Moleskin: Denial, before we can take the first step of our recovery, we must first face and admit our denial. God tells us, “You can’t heal a wound by saying it’s not there!” (Jeremiah 6:14) The “I” in denial tells us that it Isolates us from God. His Light shines on the Truth, our denial keeps us in the dark. I must let him into my heart and rest my burdens on Him, the bible tells us “God is Light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.” (1 John 1:5-7)Take a Knee: Father, we first want to give you thanks for our savior your Son Jesus Christ so that we could be forgiven of our sins. We are trying to get better and to get right. Father please give each of us strength to break the chains holding us back from being the Husbands and Fathers we could be. Please receive these prayer requests today and also the ones that were not mentioned out load. We know that in you, all things are possible. In Jesus name, Amen.
