CHAMPION!
The C is for the courage I possess through the drama
H is for the hurt but it's all for the honor
A is for my attitude working through the patience
Money comes and goes so the M is for motivation
Gotta stay consistent, the P is to persevere
The I is for integrity, innovative career
The O is optimistic, open and never shut
And the N is necessary 'cause I'm never giving up
See they ask me how I did it, I just did it from the heart
Crushing the competition, been doing it from the start
They say that every champion is all about his principles

The Moleskin!
I’ve heard countless people say “F3 was a God-send” or “I really needed F3” or “F3 changed my life” or “I don’t know where I’d be without F3”
I’ve been one of those people who’ve said that.
The reason you were able to obtain the benefit of F3 is because a group of leading men had stepped up in varied capacities and functions and committed to keeping the ship afloat before you got there.
It’s never easy to start something new, and leaders can get burned out if too much of the load falls on them without breaks or periods of rest.
Thought question:
How can you help make sure F3 will be around for the next guy who really needs it?
What can you contribute to the group (according to your giftings and abilities) to help infuse energy or shoulder a part of the load?
Examples of ways to lead:
-Nantan- @Tiny Dancer
-Site Q – @Tiny Dancer, @Pancreas, @Kwame, @Heidi, @Bogo, @Lone Star
-Social Media post guy
-Mumble Chatter maniac
-Encourager
-Guy who makes FNG welcomed right away
-Guy that brings coffee
-Guy that brings physical beat downs when the Q
-Guy who delivers solid motivational moleskins
-Guy who organizes/plans 2nd f events
-Guy who owns the prayer request list and checks up / follows up on everyone
-Guy who posts to every workout.  Keeping numbers up at all workouts helps to sustain motivation for leaders…and keeps options open for people who need it.
-Guy who picks up the 6
-Guy who gives more effort than everyone to push others to up their game
-3rd f sharer / leader
-Guy who yells “Jeremy!” At random bystanders
-Guy who is always ready and steps up to Q when someone has to back out
-Guy who invites lots of FNGs
-Guy who brings service opportunities to the group
-Guy who is the first to volunteer when a need is announced
-Guy who’s not afraid to be vulnerable and transparent, sharing struggles and challenges
1 Corinthians 12-14 paints the metaphor of a church being like a human body, and each member is an essential organ or muscle or ligament.  Everyone  has a role to play in steering this ship and keeping it afloat and operating efficiently.  Everyone brings something different to the table.  Everyone is essential!
F3 is similar to picture above from 1 Corinthians.  We all play an essential (but very different) role from our fellow F3 brothers.  What is your role?  What are your leadership strengths you can use to serve the PAX?
Personal observations on leaders:
-Leaders aren’t born, they’re made.
-Before leaders are recognized as such, they’ve been leading for awhile on their own without having the title.
-True Leaders don’t  really care if they get public recognition or not.  They are going to lead either way, and in their own way, true to who they are.
Dave Ramsey:  “if you want to be rich, do rich people stuff”
@Peewee:  “If you want to be leader, do leader stuff.”
Final thoughts:
The words of JFK in 1961 (slightly modified):
“Ask not what your F3 brothers can do for you.  Ask what you can do for Your F3 brothers!”
Thanks for the opportunity and privilege of leading the Q this morning!  Go crush Monday!
@Peewee out!
