“Kwame in the Wild”

Count: 6Six pax came out to live through a Planet Earth documentary with Kwame in the wild. Turns out this particular Kwame had a chip on his shoulder (or should I say shoulderS) after claims he’s only about legwork. We started off with the dreaded “squat walk about route” but alas, there would be no squats here. We started with Carolina Dry Docks! From there we switched course and moseyed to the football field for some Dora- 100 merkins, 150 squats (with 24 4-count squats on the way) with a mode of transportation of bear crawl out and politician back. From there we did some “Mosey-GO!” on the path for a full lap around the park- sprint on go, back to mosey. We did this 4 times each lap. Next back to circle for some SSHs, then mosey back for one final round of Dora- this time with 200 Carolina Dry Docks. And just because we hadn’t murdered the shoulders enough, on our mosey-GOs around the park one more time we decided to stop for some high planks, and some side planks to the left and right. We still had 5 minutes for Mary at the end, so we did Ring Around the Mary- everybody got one choice- we did WWIIs, low flutters, LBCs, frog something or others, J-Los, and Freddy mercury’s.

Prayer requests: @Lone Star’s M traveling today, my family traveling today and for peace for Kendra’s dad (lost her grandpa and his dad)Moleskin: the word that kept coming to my mind today was SERVE. Serving comes easy and naturally for HIM, especially when it comes to our family, loved ones… The challenge for today/this week is to take that same passion for serving our family and apply it to a stranger or acquaintance. Go out of your comfort zone to serve someone you wouldn’t normally serve. If you open your heart and mind to it, the opportunity will reveal it to you this week.

Hebrews 6:10- God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.

Galatians 5:13- You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh ; rather, serve one another humbly in love.
