Today, January 29th, is a very special day for me. 4 years ago today I lost my job. I thought it was the worst possible thing that could ever happen to me. But it ended up being one of the greatest things that has ever happened to me. The amount of personal growth, and growth in my relationship with Christ since that event, has been amazing. God knows what he is doing. We think we know the path and what is good for us, but we don’t. We think we can do it all ourselves, and we won’t be able to come back from some loss or disappointment. But God uses those moments to make us stronger, and to teach reliance on him.
